
CrossFit Games 2021 will be taking place in a few weeks and many CrossFit Games participants are very excited. Apart from the usual men's and ladies' competitions, there will be some women's events. Competition for women
This morning, the women's competition began at the 2021 Crossfit Games with the swim event. Jonne Koski, Tia-Clair Toomey Orr, and TiaClair Toomey Orr were the winners in the first event. Koski was the overall winner after keeping her lead throughout the competition. Tall and Eramoo O'Connell came in second and third, respectively. It was the first Games women's event and the women hoped to complete it.
The women’s competition is populated with high-level competitors. The field includes nine athletes, including a 19-year-old powerhouse who won the competition in Australia last year. Other contenders are Australian athlete Kara Saunders, who finished second in Australia and eleventh worldwide in 2020. In addition to these athletes, the Women's competition will also feature a newcomer to the sport - Icelandan competitor Sara Sigmundsdottir, who won the first place medal in the World Crossfit Games earlier this year.
Pegboard contest
Pegboard was an original feature at Crossfit Games 2021. It was also added to the Games' Olympic summer program. Toomey-Orr won 30 of the Games' most events, setting a new record. Sager won Event 11 for men and earned his third win of the Games. There were many ties throughout the contest, but ToomeyOrr was the dominant force that won the contest.

It's probable that the scoring table used for the 2019 games will remain nearly the same as the one used in 2021.
This year's CrossFit Games Field includes 236 athletes. This is the largest field in its history. Major cuts are made at the six initial events. The field is reduced to 75 athletes. The top 30 finishers compete in a sprint pairt to determine who is the top ten. The top 20 competitors then compete for the remaining six events. Veteran Games participants criticized Castro's system, claiming that the cuts were too drastic.
Reebok equipment
Reebok has announced new sports shoes, clothing, and other equipment for the CrossFit Games. The Nano X1 shoes are the new model. They can be used for multiple fitness goals.
